Coconut Yam Jelly Recipe
Ingredients:
Materials Quantity
A    
(a) agar-agar powder 6 teaspoons
  castor sugar 150 g
  2nd coconut milk 600 ml
  salt a pinch
(b) 1st coconut milk 200 ml
  green pea starch ½ teaspoon
(c) purple coloring few drops
  yam 250 g
  (slice, steam and mash into paste)
B    
(d) agar-agar powder 8 teaspoons
  castor sugar 180 g
  2nd coconut milk 900 ml
  pandan leaf few pieces
(e) 1st coconut milk 400 ml
  evaporated milk 100 ml

 
Method:
Step 1:
Bring (a) to boil, add in (b), cook until thicken, add in (c), cook for a while, pour into a 9" square mould, leave to set and cut into cubes.
Step 2:
Bring (d) to boil, add in (e), cook for a while.
Step 3:
Firstly, pour in 200ml of 'B' solution in a 9" mould, sprinkle yam agar-agar cubes, leave to half set, then pour in 300ml of 'B' solution, then sprinkle yam agar-agar cubes on to until is used up.
Step 4:
Chill and leave to set.
