Sweet Soup Recipe (tong shui)
Cooling Sweets Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
Materials Quantity
water 500ml
lotus seeds 150g
dried longan 100g
rock sugar 50g
palm sugar, red dates 30g
dried sugar cane sticks 20g
pandan leaves 2 pieces
Method:
Step 1:
 
Rinse lotus seeds and cook together with some water until soft.
Step 2:
 
Pour palm sugar, red dates, dried sugar cane sticks and pandan leaves into a pot, then cook for 30 minutes.
Step 3:
 
Add in rock sugar and method 1, then cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 4:
 
Once cool, add in ice cubes and serve.
