Sweet Soup Recipe (tong shui)
Sweet Potato Balls with Coconut Milk Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
Materials Quantity

orange flesh sweet potatoes

100g
yellow flesh sweet potatoes 100g
purple flesh sweet potatoes 100g

glutinous rice flour

150g
castor sugar 200g
thick coconut milk 200ml
thin coconut milk 800ml
pandan leaf 2 pieces
salt a pinch
Method:
Step 1:
 
Rinse and peel the sweet potatoes and then cut into slices. Place it into a steamer and steam until soft. Smash it differently and then mix well with 50g of glutinous rice each. Knead it into 3 color of small sweet potatoes. Set aside for further usage
Step 2:
 
Cook some water until boil and then pour in sweet potatoes balls and cook until all sweet potatoes float on the surface. Soak it into a cool water for a minute and drain well.
Step 3:
 
Pour thin coconut milk, sugar, pandan leaves into a pot and then cook it until boil. Add in salt and mix well.
Step 4:
 
Pour in thick coconut and turn off the flame. Add in cooked sweet potatoes balls and serve.
